Privacy Policy

TransferEQ brings coaching information, daily behavior, and optional wearable evidence together. This policy explains what we collect, why we use it, who may see it, and how you remain in control.

Effective August 11, 2026TransferEQ Performance Intelligence System

1. What this policy covers

This policy explains how TransferEQ, operated by Curtis Pelletier ("TransferEQ," "we," "us," or "our"), handles personal information when athletes, parents or guardians, and coaches use the TransferEQ website, dashboard, forms, messaging, reports, and connected services.

TransferEQ is a performance-development and coaching system. It is not a medical service and does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or emergency support.

2. Information we collect

Depending on the features you use, we may collect:

  • Account and profile details, including name, email, age, timezone, school, team, position, goals, and guardian information.
  • Daily check-ins, reflections, mood, energy, stress, soreness, attention, capacity, training, recovery actions, and performance moments.
  • Uploaded screen-time reports, files, messages, coach notes, lesson progress, schedules, and baseball statistics.
  • Connected wearable data that you authorize, such as recovery, HRV, resting heart rate, sleep, strain, workouts, respiratory rate, and basic profile information.
  • Technical and security information needed to operate the service, such as sign-in identity, timestamps, access records, and device or browser information.

3. WHOOP and other connected services

If you choose to connect WHOOP, TransferEQ requests only the permissions needed to import your profile, recovery, sleep, physiological cycle, strain, and workout information and to keep that connection active. WHOOP handles your WHOOP sign-in. TransferEQ does not receive or store your WHOOP password.

Connection is optional. You may disconnect a provider through TransferEQ or the provider's own account controls. Disconnecting stops future access; previously imported information may remain in your TransferEQ record until it is deleted under this policy.

4. How we use information

We use information to:

  • Operate accounts, check-ins, messaging, reports, and integrations.
  • Compare self-reported state with behavioral, schedule, training, and wearable evidence.
  • Identify patterns, missing information, readiness concerns, and coaching opportunities.
  • Provide individualized coaching, parent guidance, progress reviews, and technical support.
  • Protect the service, investigate misuse, maintain records of consent, and meet legal obligations.
  • Improve TransferEQ using de-identified or aggregated information where reasonably possible.

We do not sell personal information or wearable data.

5. Who can see information

Access is based on role. Authorized TransferEQ coaches can review information needed for coaching and reporting. Athletes can access their own records. Parents or guardians receive only the information permitted for their role and the athlete's program. Private coach-athlete messages are not automatically visible to parents unless they are marked for parent visibility or disclosure is required for safety or by law.

We may use service providers for hosting, authentication, secure storage, analytics, and connected services. They may process information only to provide those services under their applicable agreements. We may also disclose information with consent, to comply with law, or when reasonably necessary to protect a person's safety, rights, or security.

6. Athletes under 18

When an athlete is under 18, TransferEQ requires parent or guardian information and program consent before activating the full record. A parent or guardian may contact us to review or withdraw consent, subject to legal, safety, and record-keeping requirements. The service is not intended for children to register independently without the involvement required by their program.

7. Storage, security, and retention

TransferEQ uses access controls, role boundaries, encrypted connections, protected storage for integration tokens, and activity records designed to reduce unauthorized access. No system can guarantee absolute security.

Information is retained only while it is reasonably needed to provide the program, produce agreed reports, resolve disputes, meet legal or accounting duties, and maintain necessary consent and security records. When information is no longer required, we will delete or de-identify it using reasonable procedures. Service providers may process or store information outside your province or country, where it may be subject to local law.

8. Your choices and rights

You may contact us to:

  • Ask what personal information we hold and how it has been used or disclosed.
  • Request access to or correction of your information.
  • Withdraw optional consent or disconnect a wearable or calendar integration.
  • Request deletion, subject to information we must retain for legal, safety, security, or legitimate record-keeping purposes.
  • Ask a question or challenge our privacy practices.

Withdrawing consent may limit features that depend on the affected information. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as TransferEQ changes. The current version and effective date will remain posted here. If a material change affects how existing athlete information is used, we will provide appropriate notice and seek consent where required.
